A Word From The Founder Of Hiatus Tequila

Welcome to Hiatus Tequila! Much more than a Spirits brand, going on “a hiatus” is a way of life. It’s been quite the journey but here we are, a life-long dream of mine is now a reality.

To me, hiatus is about taking a step back from all the clutter that surrounds us in our daily lives, slowing down and reflecting on what’s most important for our mind, body, and spirit. It’s also a reminder to take a break from the norm, the status quo, and to do and try something different, perhaps against the grain.

Hiatus means something different to everyone and that is the beauty of what we’ve created with our tequila. Each person has their own way of enjoying their favorite spirit….in a way, it’s about finding your own hiatus.

Mexico has always been a second home to me. I spent over seven years living there and a lifetime exploring its amazing history, culture, cuisine, and music, while getting to know its wonderful and diverse people, and of course its agave spirits. Tequila has been my spirit of choice as long as I can remember, and I couldn’t be prouder than to have worked side by side with one of the great tequila distilling families, La Cofradia and their Maestro Tequilero to bring you Hiatus Tequila.
